Electronic Circuit Labs
The Electronic Circuit labs were a series of simple circuits organized and explained in detail in a packet. Each student was provided with a small circuit board and an electronic tool kit. There were a total of thirty labs to choose from, and each student could pick any ten of those thirty labs to create circuits from. Each lab included a pictorial diagram, a schematic diagram, and an explanation of the circuit.
The grading for this project was
different from previous projects. Students had to individually meet with
the instructor, where they would test and explain each circuit. The
grade received was based on how well the student understood each
circuit.
My take-away from this project was learning about all of the components of electronic circuits, as well as learning about how electronics work. Before doing these labs, I had only an extremely limited knowledge of electronic circuits, if any at all. By doing these labs, I now understand the basics of electronics and electrical components.
Overall, I found this project to be the most fun and rewarding of all the projects in this class. I gained a wealth of new knowledge from this project and had fun while doing so.
